Having experienced significant growth within the first two years of operation this asset light waste removal aggregator business diverted over 15,000 tonnes of waste from landfill in 2023 and their tech-based solutions, with a customer-centric ethos, has seen them rapidly expand to become one of the nation’s leading providers.

Jem's Bees is a one-woman operation overseen by beekeeper Jem Westing. The company produces seasonal honey and an array of all-natural homemade products, including exclusive printed items. Leveraging her background in design, recycling, and children's book publishing, Jem has infused the brand with creativity, diligently recycling and restoring equipment all while sharing her honeybee expertise online and in person. Jem is focussed on keeping the environmental impact of the business as low as it can be whilst still maintaining a thriving and successful business model.

Community Award

St Albans

Domestic Abuse Alliance brings together organisations working on the frontline of domestic abuse with the civil legal sector to provide immediate legal assistance and protection for victims. Their free to use WEPROTECT mobile app enables instant victim referral to ensure that appropriate legal support is actioned without delay. Eight UK police forces are currently using WEPROTECT, as well as several specialist services to help improve support provision for victims of domestic abuse so that they can start to feel safe again.

Diversity and Inclusion Award

The NeuroSpicy Entrepreneur Club is a safe space for Neurodiverse entrepreneurs whose brains are wired differently. The business was established by Jemima Willcox, a neurodiverse entrepreneur who knew there was a need for a community hub for individuals to come together and connect, feel comfortable enough to open up, share their experiences and ideas with a group of like-minded people. The business is now a vibrant community for neurodiverse entrepreneurs and business professionals.
